What to expect

No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.

What participation involves

  • Procedures mentioned: Questionnaires

Only what the study's summary and detailed description on ClinicalTrials.gov say. Time periods may describe the whole study or a part of it — ask the study team what applies to you.

Show the study's own words
  • "Longitudinal follow-up data is obtained via Corrona Questionnaires completed by both subjects and their treating dermatologists (also known as "Providers" for a Corrona registry study) every 6 months (+/- 30 days)."
  • "Any adverse events that are spontaneously volunteered by the subject or discovered as a result of general questioning by the investigator should be recorded on the Provider Follow-up Questionnaire for that visit."
Compensation
Not stated
  • Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
  • Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This study compares the safety of approved psoriasis treatments, including newer medicines, in everyday care. It is for adults in North America with psoriasis who are treated by skin doctors. It also tracks side effects, including cancer, and looks at how well treatments work.

The primary objective of the CorEvitas Psoriasis Registry is to study the comparative safety of approved psoriasis therapies in a North American cohort of psoriasis subjects treated by dermatologists. This includes assessing the incidence and nature of adverse events of special interest, including malignancy, in a real world population of psoriasis patients on new biologic therapies (e.g. secukinumab). Secondary objectives include analyzing the epidemiology and natural history of the disease, comorbidities, current treatment practices, and comparative effectiveness.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

  • Have psoriasis diagnosed by a dermatologist (skin doctor).
  • Be age 18 or older.
  • Be willing and able to give written consent to join.

  • Have started or switched to a systemic psoriasis treatment (one that works throughout the body) within the past 12 months.

Who can't join
