About this study
In plain language
This study looks at what helps or makes self-care harder for Black adults with type 2 diabetes, long-term kidney disease, and social needs that affect health. It aims to develop and improve support that fits their culture to help improve health, quality of life, and self-care.
The overarching goal of this study is to understand facilitators and barriers to self-care, develop and refine a culturally tailored intervention to improve clinical outcomes, quality of life (QOL), and self-care behaviors in African American adults with diabetic kidney disease (DKD) experiencing health-related social needs (HRSN).
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
