What to expect
No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.
What participation involves
- Procedures mentioned: Questionnaires

- "All participants will also complete surveys about their sexual health."
- Compensation
- Not stated
- Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
- Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
- Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.

About this study
In plain language
This study tests whether sexual health counseling and a hormone-free vaginal moisturizer can prevent or reduce vaginal dryness and sexual problems. It is for women with breast cancer who are starting or receiving treatment to stop their ovaries from making hormones. Researchers will compare this early care with treating problems after they start, and everyone will complete sexual health surveys.
Researchers are doing this study to look at whether sexual health counselling and using non-hormonal moisturizer at the start of ovarian suppression may be able to prevent or reduce side effects such as vaginal dryness and sexual dysfunction. Researchers will compare how effective this prevention intervention works compared to the usual approach, which is to treat these side effects after they start. All participants will also complete surveys about their sexual health. This information will help researchers learn more about the sexual health of women with breast cancer receiving ovarian suppression.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
