What to expect
No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.
What participation involves
- Procedures mentioned: Urine samples, Questionnaires
Only what the study's summary and detailed description on ClinicalTrials.gov say. Time periods may describe the whole study or a part of it — ask the study team what applies to you.

- "To create an annotated biorepository with prospectively collected blood and urine samples from men with advanced prostate cancer."
- "Patients undergo blood and urine sample collection, complete surveys, and have their medical records reviewed on study."
- Compensation
- Not stated
- Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
- Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
- Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
- Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.
About this study
In plain language
This study collects samples, such as blood, urine, and tissue, and health information to learn more about advanced prostate cancer. It is for men whose prostate cancer has spread and who are about to start a new treatment that works throughout the body. Researchers hope to find ways to improve care in the future.
This study examines information from patients with prostate cancer that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). By collecting biological samples (like blood, urine, and tissue), and health information (such as treatment, diet, and quality of life) researchers hope to learn more about prostate cancer and ways to improve outcomes in the future.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
