What to expect

No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.

What participation involves

Not stated in the study description — ask the study team about visits and procedures.

Compensation
Not stated
  • Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
  • Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This study tests BMS-986460 in men with prostate cancer that has spread and keeps growing despite treatment to lower male hormones. It looks at how safe the drug is, how well men tolerate it, and early signs of whether it works.

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of BMS-986460 in men with Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

  • Be fully active or able to do light work, even if hard physical activity is limited (ECOG score of 0 or 1).

  • Have cancer that got worse after treatment to lower male hormones and at least one additional hormone treatment approved for prostate cancer that resists hormone-lowering treatment.

Who can't join

  • Have ever had cancer that spread to the brain.
  • Have a heart that does not work well or serious heart disease.
  • Have a major health problem, such as an active or uncontrolled infection, mental illness, or abnormal lab results, that the study doctor thinks makes joining unsafe or prevents participation.
