What to expect
No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.
What participation involves
- Procedures mentioned: Infusions

Show the study's own words
- "In the split-dose cohort, participants may receive two intravenous infusions of SBT777101 derived from a single manufacturing process, administered approximately 6 weeks apart."
- Compensation
- Not stated
- Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
- Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
- Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
- Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.
About this study
In plain language
This study tests the safety and effects of SBT777101 in people with moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a disease that causes swollen, painful joints. This is the first study of this treatment in humans, and higher doses will be tested only after lower doses are shown to be safe. Most participants will get one dose, but some may get the dose split into two treatments through a vein about 6 weeks apart.
This study will test the safety and effects of SBT777101 when given as a single dose to subjects with rheumatoid arthritis. It is the first study of this treatment being done in humans. Increasing dose levels will be given after the safety at lower dose levels is shown. Following completion of the initial single ascending dose cohorts, the study may evaluate alternative administration regimens of SBT777101, including split-dose administration. In the split-dose cohort, participants may receive two intravenous infusions of SBT777101 derived from a single manufacturing process, administered approximately 6 weeks apart. The study will continue to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary clinical activity.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
