About this study
In plain language
This study tests whether diabetes care videos, with or without help from a community health worker, improve blood sugar control. It is for Chinese Americans in New York City with type 2 diabetes and high blood sugar. The study compares these programs with a group on a waiting list.
The overall goal of this study is to examine the efficacy of the video-based Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) (hereafter VIDEO), or the video-based DSMES+community health worker (CHW) intervention (hereafter VIDEO+CHW), compared with a wait-list control group (hereafter CONTROL) to improve glycemic control among Chinese Americans with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes in NYC.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
