About this study
In plain language
This study looks at digestive symptoms, including long-lasting loose stools, after surgery to remove part of the colon for colon cancer. It studies how these symptoms affect daily life and whether they are linked to poor absorption of bile acids or too many bacteria in the small intestine. Bile acids are fluids that help digest fat.
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn about gastrointestinal symptoms in participants who have undergone SC or RC and their impact on the quality of life of these participants.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
