About this study
In plain language
This study will add mental health support and digital tools to a Type 2 diabetes program led by community health workers. The program will consider how past trauma can affect care. Researchers will test how well it can be carried out and how people feel about it for South Asians with Type 2 diabetes who are at risk for depression.
This study will adapt a community health worker (CHW)-led Type 2 diabetes (T2D) intervention to include mental health and digital components using a trauma informed care approach, and test the feasibility and acceptability of this intervention to support South Asians with T2D at risk for depression.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
