- Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.
About this study
In plain language
This study tests A1c Drink against a placebo drink in adults ages 21 to 75 with type 2 diabetes. It will compare changes over 3 months in A1c, a blood test that shows average blood sugar levels. Participants and study staff will not know which drink each person gets.
The investigators will conduct a randomized controlled 2-arm parallel trial of A1c Drink vs. Placebo over a 3-month period and compare changes in Ha1c from baseline to 3 months. Investigator and study personnel, as well as participants, will be blinded to drink assignments.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
