About this study

In plain language

LungSMART Utah studies ways to help more people get lung cancer screening at community health centers with limited resources. Screening uses a low-dose CT scan, which takes X-ray pictures of the lungs. The study is for current or former smokers ages 50–80 who get care at participating centers.

The long-term goal of Lung Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trial (LungSMART) Utah is to increase the reach of Low-Dose Computed Tomography (LDCT) screening for lung cancer (hereafter referred to as Lung Cancer Screening or LCS) at scale in low-resource healthcare settings.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
