What to expect

No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.

What participation involves

  • Procedures mentioned: MRI scans, CT scans

Only what the study's summary and detailed description on ClinicalTrials.gov say. Time periods may describe the whole study or a part of it — ask the study team what applies to you.

Show the study's own words
  • "In both parts of the study, patients will initially be imaged with a \[68Ga\]Ga-DWJ155 positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) or PET/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan."
Compensation
Not stated
  • Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
  • Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This early study tests [177Lu]Lu-DWJ155 as a cancer treatment and [68Ga]Ga-DWJ155 as an imaging agent used for scans. It checks safety, side effects, radiation doses, and early signs of effects on tumors. It is for adults with certain advanced breast, lung, stomach, or bladder cancers after prior treatment.

The purpose of this phase I study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, dosimetry, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of \[177Lu\]Lu-DWJ155 and the safety and imaging properties of \[68Ga\]Ga-DWJ155 in patients with histologically or cytologically confirmed advanced HER2+, HR+/HER2-negative, or triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), HER2-3+ or 2+ (ISH positive or negative) gastric/gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer, and bladder cancer.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

Who can join

  • You must be age 18 or older.
  • Your cancer must be confirmed by tissue or cell tests. Standard treatment must have stopped working or caused side effects you could not tolerate, and the study doctor must decide that no standard treatment with proven benefit is right for you.
  • Your cancer must be measurable on scans.
  • HER2-positive breast cancer must have worsened after at least two courses of whole-body treatment for advanced cancer. HER2 is a protein that can help cancer grow.
  • Breast cancer that uses hormones to grow and has low HER2 levels must have worsened after prior treatment for advanced cancer.
  • The dose expansion part also accepts breast cancer with no HER2, or low HER2 that does not use hormones to grow, after it worsens with prior treatment.
  • Advanced non-small cell lung cancer must have been treated before. In the dose escalation part, cancer without gene changes that can guide treatment must also have worsened after treatment.
  • The dose expansion part also accepts advanced bladder cancer or certain stomach cancers, including cancer where the stomach meets the food pipe, after they worsen with treatment. Stomach cancers must have a HER2 test score of 3+ or 2+.

Who can't join

  • Blood tests show kidney function, liver or pancreas test results, or blood cell counts outside the study's allowed ranges.
  • You started medicines to boost blood cell counts within 2 weeks before the imaging agent, or had a blood transfusion within 4 weeks before it.
  • You have poor heart function or significant heart disease.
  • You have a blockage in urine flow or loss of bladder control that cannot be managed.
  • You have a serious infection that is not controlled.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have ever had a radioactive cancer drug, or had a radioactive imaging drug too recently. Radiation treatment within 4 weeks, or outside-beam radiation aimed at the lungs within 6 months, also rules you out.
  • The imaging agent collects in healthy tissues or organs in a way that the study doctor thinks makes the treatment too risky.

Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.

Official eligibility criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * Male or female patients age ≥ 18 years. * Patients with one of the following histologically or cytologically confirmed and documented malignancies who have progressed on or been intolerant to standard of care therapy, and are not considered appropriate for any standard therapy with proven benefit, in the investigator's judgment: * Dose Escalation: * Advanced HER2+ breast cancer with disease progression after at least two prior lines of systemic therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced HR+/HER2-low breast cancer with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced NSCLC without actionable genetic alterations (AGAs) with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced NSCLC with AGAs who have received prior treatment * Measurable disease as determined by RECIST version 1.1. * Dose Expansion: * Advanced HER2+ breast cancer with disease progression after at least two prior lines of systemic therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced HR+/HER2-low breast cancer with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced HR+/HER2 0 breast cancer with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced HR-/HER2-low breast cancer with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced HR-/HER2 0 breast cancer with disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced NSCLC with AGAs, who have received prior treatment * Advanced NSCLC without known AGAs who have received prior treatment. * Advanced gastric/GEJ cancer with HER2 IHC 3+ or 2+ (ISH + or -), following disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Advanced bladder cancer following disease progression after prior therapy in the advanced setting * Measurable disease as determined by RECIST version 1.1. Other protocol-defined inclusion/exclusion criteria may apply.
