What to expect

No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.

What participation involves

Not stated in the study description — ask the study team about visits and procedures.

Compensation
Not stated
  • Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
  • Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This study looks at treatments and health results for adults in the US with prostate cancer that has spread and no longer responds to treatment that lowers testosterone. It uses existing records from the PRECISION data platform for people who received hormone-blocking drugs, taxane chemotherapy, and a radioactive drug called 177Lu-PSMA-617.

The aim of this study is to assess treatment patterns, characteristics, and clinical outcomes among adults with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have previously received ≥1 androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI), ≥1 taxane, and 177Lu-PSMA-617 in the United States (US) real-world clinical practice. This study will be conducted using data extracted from the PRECISION (PRostatE Cancer dISease observatION) data platform.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

Who can join

  • Received 177Lu-PSMA-617, a radioactive treatment, on or after January 1, 2021.
  • Received at least one androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI), a hormone-blocking drug, before 177Lu-PSMA-617.
  • Received at least one taxane, a type of chemotherapy, before or after 177Lu-PSMA-617.
  • Had prostate cancer that had spread and no longer responded to testosterone-lowering treatment by the study’s reference date. This date is the last dose of whichever of the three treatment types was given most recently.
  • Were at least 18 years old on that reference date.

Who can't join

Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.

    Official eligibility criteria

Inclusion criteria: * Evidence of 177Lu-PSMA-617 use on or after 01 January 2021. * Evidence of treatment with ≥1 ARPI, before 177Lu-PSMA-617. * Evidence of treatment with ≥1 taxane, before or after 177Lu-PSMA-617. * Diagnosis of mCRPC prior to or on the index date. The index date is the date of the last treatment administration of the latest of an ARPI, taxane, and 177Lu-PSMA-617. * Age ≥18 years at index. Exclusion criteria: • None.
