About this study

In plain language

This study tests how well Witness Project® Lung helps Black adults get screened for lung cancer. It is for adults ages 50 to 80 with a history of cigarette smoking who qualify for screening.

The long-term objective is to improve lung cancer screening uptake among screening-eligible Black adults and thereby reduce the population burden of late-stage diagnosis and mortality. The short-term objective of this study is to rigorously test the effectiveness, mechanisms, and implementation readiness of Witness Project® Lung.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
