About this study
In plain language
This study looks at safety and health results after a heart transplant using a donor heart that tests positive for hepatitis C virus. It is for people who received one of these hearts, including people who have had a heart transplant before.
In this study we seek to test the hypothesis that safety and clinical outcomes after cardiac transplantation utilizing HCV NAT+ donor organs as currently performed are acceptable.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
Eligibility

- People receiving another heart transplant may join.
Who can't join
- Received more than one type of organ in the transplant.
Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.
