About this study

In plain language

This small study tests whether boxes of fruits and vegetables improve health for Veterans with kidney disease who have trouble getting enough healthy food. Veterans will also take part in interviews to share their views and experiences.

The goal of this pilot clinical trial is primarily learn if produce boxes improve clinical outcomes among Veterans with kidney disease and food or nutrition insecurity. Secondly, the study will capture Veterans qualitative perspectives, experience, and engagement through semi-structured interviews.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
