About this study

In plain language

This study tracks long-term results in adults treated with drug-coated balloons to open narrowed heart arteries. It is for people whose treated artery areas have not been treated before.

The primary objective of this protocol is to develop a comprehensive, multicenter international prospective registry to capture long-term clinical outcomes for adult patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-coated balloons (DCB) for de novo coronary artery disease.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

Who can join

  • Age 18 or older.
  • Having a procedure to open narrowed heart arteries using a drug-coated balloon.
  • The narrowed artery area being treated has not been treated before.

Who can't join

  • Under age 18.
  • Having an artery-opening procedure without a drug-coated balloon.
  • Having treatment for an artery area that has been treated before.

Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.

Official eligibility criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * All adult patients (≥ 18 years of age) undergoing PCI for de novo CAD using DCB Exclusion Criteria: * Patients under the age of 18; PCI procedures without the utilization of DCB; PCI procedures for non de novo lesions
