  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This study follows adults ages 45–75 who have a positive Shield blood test for colorectal cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum). It looks at how they make decisions, how unsure they feel, whether they plan to get a full follow-up exam, and whether they complete a colonoscopy (an exam inside the colon).

Prospective, observational, minimal-risk study evaluating decision-making, decisional conflict, intention to undergo complete diagnostic evaluation (CDE), and colonoscopy completion after a positive Shield TM blood-based colorectal cancer screening test result.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
