What to expect
No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.
What participation involves
- Time periods mentioned: 13 weeks, 25 weeks
Only what the study's summary and detailed description on ClinicalTrials.gov say. Time periods may describe the whole study or a part of it — ask the study team what applies to you.
Show the study's own words
- "For healthy participants, the study also looks at how much LY4405094 gets into the fluid around the brain and lasts up to 13 weeks and will include a 4-day stay in the Clinical Research Unit (CRU)."
- "For participants with Alzheimer's Disease, the study will also look at levels of a specific Alzheimer's-related protein in the brain and will last up to 25 weeks and will include a 3-day stay in the CRU."
- Compensation
- Not stated
- Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
- Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
- Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
- Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.
About this study
In plain language
This study tests the safety of LY4405094 and how much and how quickly it enters the blood in healthy people and people with Alzheimer's disease. For healthy people, it also checks how much enters the fluid around the brain; the study lasts up to 13 weeks with a 4-day stay at a research center. For people with Alzheimer's disease, it also checks levels of a protein linked to Alzheimer's in the brain; the study lasts up to 25 weeks with a 3-day stay at a research center.
The purpose of this study is to see how safe LY4405094 is and to see how much and how quickly LY4405094 gets into the bloodstream. For healthy participants, the study also looks at how much LY4405094 gets into the fluid around the brain and lasts up to 13 weeks and will include a 4-day stay in the Clinical Research Unit (CRU). For participants with Alzheimer's Disease, the study will also look at levels of a specific Alzheimer's-related protein in the brain and will last up to 25 weeks and will include a 3-day stay in the CRU.
Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.
Eligibility
Who can join
- Must meet the entry rules in a separate screening plan called ATMP before joining the treatment study.
Who can't join
- Have a known allergy to LY4405094, similar substances such as remternetug, or any ingredient in the study drug.
- Have a known allergy to adhesives (sticky materials) or hydrogels (water-based gels), or a family history of skin allergies to adhesives.
Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.
Official eligibility criteria
Inclusion Criteria: * Participants must meet eligibility criteria in the ATMP screening protocol before entry into the treatment study.
