What to expect

No one can promise a trial will help you personally — that is what the research is trying to find out.

What participation involves

Not stated in the study description — ask the study team about visits and procedures.

Compensation
Not stated
  • Study-related exams and procedures are typically provided at no cost. This is how many trials work in general — confirm the details for this study with the study team.
  • Participants are monitored closely by the research team throughout the study.
  • Some participants may receive access to an investigational treatment, which is still being studied.
  • Your participation helps researchers learn whether this approach could help future patients.

About this study

In plain language

This international study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help match people with cancer to clinical trials, with support from an online team of cancer experts. It looks at how well the tool works, its costs, and its effects on care and outcomes for people with advanced cancer.

International registry for cancer patients evaluating the feasibility and clinical utility of an Artificial Intelligence-based precision oncology clinical trial matching tool, powered by a virtual tumor boards (VTB) program, and its clinical impact on pts with advanced cancer to facilitate clinical trial enrollment (CTE), as well as the financial impact, and potential outcomes of the intervention.

Compensation is read from the study's own description and may be missing — always confirm with the study team.

Eligibility

Who can join

  • Have a solid tumor or a blood cancer.
  • Have cancer-related markers or gene changes found by lab testing. These are features of the cancer that may help guide treatment.
  • Have these markers tested by a local lab, an outside testing company, or a service that reads cancer genes.
  • You or your main care provider has decided to consider an early review to see if a clinical trial may be a match.

Who can't join

  • Need help with much of your self-care and spend more than half of your waking hours in bed or a chair (ECOG activity score above 2).
  • Have organs that are not working normally.
  • Are enrolled in hospice care.

Simplified for readability. The official criteria below are what the study team uses.
